Sabine Schöne is the most successful German female squash player of all time who competed in 80 Professional Squash Association (PSA) World Tour events between 1988 and 2001, remaining in the world’s top 10 for eight consecutive years and achieving a highest a career-high PSA World Ranking of No.5

Sabine started playing squash at six years of age, winning German junior national titles across all age groups. In 1988, at just 14 years of age, Sabine won her first senior German National Championship title which she successfully defended until her retirement from competitive play.

In 1991, Sabine reached the final of the World Junior Championships and the following year was crowned European Junior Champion in Norway.

Throughout her record breaking career, Sabine represented Germany with distinction at World and European Team Championships and was crowned World O35 Masters Champion in 2010 and 2012.

Sabine currently owns and manages "Café am Münster" a successful coffee and pastry shop in Moosburg which was awarded as one of the best in Germany in 2018.
