Charlie Lee beats Jami Äijänen to reach Finnish Open quarter-finals

Charlie Lee defeated Jami Äijänen 13-11 11-9 11-3 in the 1st round of the 2018 Savcor Finnish Squash Open being staged in Mikkeli, Finland.

Fellow UNSQUASHABLE player Miles Jenkins, who qualified for the Professional Squash Association (PSA) M10 World Tour event with impressive wins over Joel Jalovaara and Jaako Vahamaa, was unable to progress beyond top seed Olli Tuominen with the Finnish No.1 winning a close opening round match 14-12 11-5 12-10.
Charlie Lee will today play fellow Rob Owen Academy player and second seed Jan van der Herrewegen of Belgium.
