George Parker reaches European Championships quarter-finals

George Parker will today play Baptiste Masotti of France in the quarter-finals of the European Individual Squash Championships being staged at the Squash Dome in Graz, Austria following straight-game victories over Piotr Hemmerling of Poland and Martin Svec of Czechoslovakia in the 1st and 2nd rounds respectively of the European Squash Federation (ESF) event.

Parker, based at the Rob Owen Academy (ROA) in England defeated Piotr Hemmerling 11-2 11-4 11-2 and Martin Svec 11-3 11-3 11-5.
