Iker Pajares Bernabeu & Joel Makin progress in Hong Kong Open qualification

Iker Pajares Bernabeu and Joel Makin progressed to the final round of qualification for the Cathay Pacific Sun Hung Kai Financial Hong Kong Squash Open being staged at the Hong Kong Football Club.

Spanish No.2 Iker Pajares Bernabeu recorded a stunning 80-minuite 7-11 6-11 12-10 11-9 victory over experienced England international Chris Simpson whilst Joel Makin was untroubled in overcoming Chung Yat Long of Hong Kong 11-4 11-7 11-2 in just 21 minutes.
 
Fellow UNSQUASHABLE player Josh Masters missed-out on reaching the final round of qualification after being unable to overcome German No.1 Raphael Kandra.
