Iker Pajares Bernabeu stars in helping Spain to best ever finish at European Team Championships

Iker Pajares Bernabeu produced an outstanding 59-minute 7-11 11-8 11-8 11-6 victory over Raphael Kandra to help Spain to a stunning victory over Germany to claim a best ever third place at the European Team Championships staged in Poland.

In the women's final, England defeated France for the fifth time in a row whilst France met England in the men's final for the eleventh time and successfully defended their title.
