James Willstrop denied by World No.1 in Grasshopper Cup semi-finals

James Willstrop produced another high quality performance in the semi-finals of the Grasshopper Cup being staged in Zurich but was denied a place in his first Professional Squash Association (PSA) World Tour event of 2018 by World No.1 Mohamed ElShorbagy.

Elshorbagy came through a challenging last four battle with Willstrop to underline his authority with an 11-9 11-8 11-8 win in the Professional Squash Association (PSA) M100 World Tour event.

The World No.1 will today play compatriot Ramy Ashour who defeated Gregory Gaultier 11-6 11-8 11-8 in 45-minutes.
