James Willstrop overcomes Patrick Rooney to reach London Open semi-finals

James Willstrop recovered from losing the first game to overcome a determined Patrick Rooney in the quarter-finals of the London Open being staged at the prestigious Cumberland Lawn Tennis Club.

Top seed James Willstrop defeated his fellow UNSQUASHABLE player Patrick Rooney 4-11 12-10 11-8 11-9 in 43 minutes and will today play compatriot Chris Simpson in the semi-finals of the Professional Squash Association (PSA) Challenger World Tour event.
