Joel Makin & Bernat Jaume help Wales & Spain to progress in World Team Championships

Whilst the top-ranked teams seeds enjoyed a rest day both Wales and Spain battled it out to join them in the last 16 knockout round courtesy of wins by Joel Makin and Bernat Jaume.

Welsh No.1 Joel Makin beat Daniel Mekbib 11-3 11-9 11-7 to help Wales to a 3-0 victory over the Czech Republic to play France today.
 
Bernat Jaume beat Hasanain Dakheel 11-2 7-11 11-9 11-7 to help Spain to a 3-0 victory over Iraq to play New Zealand.
