Joel Makin & George Parker through to final qualification for Allam British Open

Joel Makin and George Parker will today contest the final round of qualification for the Allam British Open Squash Championships being staged in Hull.

Welsh No.1 Joel Makin beat fellow UNSQUASHABLE player Patrick Rooney 12-10 11-7 11-6 in the 1st round of qualification for the Professional Squash Association (PSA) World Series event whilst George Parker recorded a hard-fought 11-9 11-5 6-11 9-11 11-9 win over Nathan Lake.

Josh Masters and Charlie Lee were unable to overcome their higher seeded qualifiers – bowing-out to Gregoire Marche of France and Chris Simpson of England respectively.
