Joel Makin Reaches Maiden World Tour Final Since Joining UNSQUASHABLE

Joel Makin defeated compatriot Peter Creed 11-6 7-11 8-11 11-4 12-10 in a trilling 101 minute semi-final at the 2016 Bishops Stortford Squash Classic to reach his maiden Professional Squash Association (PSA) World Tour final since joining UNSQUASHABLE.

The new Welsh No.1 gave everything to reach the final of the new $10K PSA men’s squash championships staged at Bishop Stortford Squash Club, however his earlier exploits eventually proved decisive in the final in which he was unable to overcome Charles Sharpes, with the Englishman eventually winning 11-8 10-12 11-7 10-12 11-5 in a marathon 111 minute final.
UNSQUASHABLE is committed to developing equipment to be used by the world’s leading players because we believe that engineering equipment for professional competition makes for a better product for the everyday player. Joel Makin uses the UNSQUASHABLE Y-TEC PRO racket which will be available exclusively from later in the year.
