Joel Makin To Contest Wimbledon Cup Final

Joel Makin continues his impressive run of form by reaching the final of the Wimbledon Cup, the British Squash Professional Association (BSPA) event staged at Wimbledon Racquets & Fitness Club.

The Welsh No.1 will face Ben Coleman in the final of the 2016 Wimbledon Cup following comprehensive wins over Martin Ross, Jamie Henderson and Chris Leiper in the 1st round, 2nd round and quarter-finals respectively.

Joel defeated Martin Ross 11-7 11-7 11-2, Jamie Henderson 11-1 11-6 12-10 and Chris Leiper 11-7 11-9 11-5 before benefiting from the retirement of top seed Tom Richards after the first game of the semi-final.
