Joel Makin To Face Tom Ford For Place In World Championships Main Draw

UNSQUASHABLE brand ambassador and sponsored player Joel Makin has set up a second round qualifying tie against Englishman Tom Ford in the Wadi Degla PSA Men’s World Championship being staged in Cairo, Egypt. A comfortable 3-0 victory saw the Welshman overcome rising Egyptian star Mostafa Montaser 11-5 11-2 11-2 to book a place in the next and final round of qualifying.

A win against Qualifying No.7 seed Tom Ford would seal Makin’s place in the main draw of the Professional Squash Association (PSA) World Championships for the first time in his career. The Welsh No.1 has risen up the PSA World Rankings since joining UNSQUASHABLE and will aim to continue his recent strong form in Cairo.
