Joel Makin beats Raphael Kandra to reach DPD Open quarter-finals

Joel Makin defeated Raphael Kandra of Germany 8-11 11-8 11-6 6-11 11-4 reach the quarter-finals of the DPD Squash Open being staged in Amsterdam.

After qualifying for the main draw of the Professional Squash Association (PSA) M25 World Tour event fellow UNSQUASHABLE player Patrick Rooney was beaten by Karim Ali Fathi of Egypt 11-9 11-3 7-11 11-6.
 
Joel Makin will today play Omar Abdel Meguid in the quarter-finals of the main draw of the Professional Squash Association (PSA) M25 World Tour event.
