Joel Makin through to the semi-finals of the Irish Open

Joel Makin defeated fellow UNSQUASHABLE player Josh Masters 11-4 11-3 11-3 in the quarter-finals of the 2018 Irish Squash open being staged in at the Fitzwilliam Club in Dublin.

Third seeded, Welsh number one will tomorrow play top seed Tom Richards in the semi-finals of the Professional Squash Association (PSA) M15 World Tour event.

George Parker was unable to progress further after being defeated 11-7 6-11 11-9 11-7 by fellow Englishman Tom Richards in his quarter finals match which denied him a semi-final spot against Joel Makin.
