Josh Masters & Iker Pajares Bernabeu progress in Wimbledon Open qualification

Josh Masters and Iker Pajares Bernabeu defeated Robert Downer and Jaymie Haycocks respectively in the 1st round of qualification for the Wimbledon Club Squash Squared Open.

Josh Masters beat compatriot Downer 11-5 11-8 9-11 11-6 to play top seeded qualifier Chris Simpson whilst Spanish international Iker Pajares Bernabeu defeated Jaymie Haycocks of England 11-7 11-3 11-6 to play Youssef Soliman of Egypt.

George Parker was beaten 11-3 11-9 9-11 7-11 11/9 by fellow Englishman Richie Fallows.

Josh Masters and Iker Pajares Bernabeu will hope to qualify for the main draw Professional Squash Association (PSA) M35 World Tour event where they will compete alongside fellow UNSQUASHABLE player James Willstrop.
