Josh Masters beats Chi Him Wong to progress to Malaysian Open quarter-finals

Josh Masters defeated Hong Kong qualifier Chi Him Wong 8-11 11-3 11-8 111-8 in the 1st round of the Ohana Malaysia Open being staged at the National Centre, Bukit Jalil in Kuala Lumpur.

Masters ended the run of the Hong Kong qualifier in a 41-minute encounter to reach the quarter-finals of the Professional Squash Association (PSA) M25 World Tour event where he will play Mazen Hesham of Egypt who beat top seed Alan Clyne from Scotland.
