Katie Malliff denied in epic British Junior Open semi-final

Despite another fine performance, Katie Malliff fell just short in an epic five-game semi-final at the British Junior Open Squash Championships being staged in Birmingham, England.

Katie, the British Girls U15 Champion, was beaten 8-11 11-9 6-11 11-5 13-11 by Aira Azman of Malaysia and will today play Habeba El Dafrawy of Egypt in the Girls U15 3rd/4th play-off.
 
Katie is competing in the Dunlop British Junior Open alongside fellow UNSQUASHABLE players Charlie McCrone, Finn Withington, Harry Bloomfield, Saran Nghiem, Cory Harding, Sonny Flint and Luke Credland.
