Patrick Rooney qualifies for DPD Open main draw

Patrick Rooney defeated Lance Beddoes of New Zealand 11-7 11-9 11-9 in the final round of qualification for the DPD Squash Open being staged in Amsterdam.

Fellow UNSQUASHABLE player George Parker was prevented from reaching the main draw by Jens Schoor of Germany.
Patrick Rooney will join fellow UNSQUASHABLE player Joel Makin in the main draw of the Professional Squash Association (PSA) M25 World Tour event.
Patrick will today play Karim Ali Fathi of Egypt whilst Joel will play German No.2 Raphael Kandra.
