Rory Stewart denied place in Austrian Open final

Rory Stewart was denied a place in the final of the 2018 Austrian Squash Open by England’s Lyell Fuller who defeated the young Scotsman 9-11 12-10 11-5 11-8 in a tough 60 minute semi-final battle at the Europark Salzburg.

Rory did well to come back from 3-7 down in the first game to win it 11-9 but from then the momentum shifted towards his English opponent. Rory kept pushing and fought for every point and the crowd saw some entertaining rallies with some interaction of the ref too. At the end Fuller proved the more composed as he closed-out a four game victory in the Professional Squash Association (PSA) M5 World Tour event.
