UNSQUASHABLE players progress in British Junior Open

UNSQUASHABLE players Katie Malliff, Finn Withington, Charlie McCrone, Harry Bloomfield, Saran Nghiem and Cory Harding are all competing in this week’s British Junior Open Squash Championships being staged in Birmingham, England.

Katie Malliff will today play Nour Heikal of Egypt in the Girls U15 competition following impressive wins over Rosanna Greenwood and Ninon Lemarchand whilst Saran Nghiem beat Millie Flynn of England but was unable to overcome higher seed Haya Mohamed Ali of Egypt in her 2nd round match.
 
In the Girls U11’s, English Champion Charlie McCrone beat Grace Lodge of the USA, whilst Harry Bloomfield beat Adam Ryder of England in the Boy’s U11.
 
In the Boys U13’s, Cory Harding beat Caio Paiva of Brazil but was forced to retire against top seed Islam Kouratam of Egypt in his 2nd round match.
In the Boys U15, Finn Withington beat Zan Farooqi of England.
