George Parker and Charlie Lee will today contest the final of the West of Ireland Open in Galway. The two UNSQUASHABLE players and training partners at the Rob Owen Academy (ROA) will play each other in the final of the Professional Squash Association (PSA) M10 World Tour event following impressive straight-game wins over Charles Sharpes and Nick Sachvie respectively.

In the first semi-final, George Parker proved too strong for his English compatriot – taking a high position up the court and volleying with clinical accuracy to close-out a 29-minute 11-5 11-9 11-6 victory.

In the second semi-final, Charlie Lee played intelligently to stretch his Canadian opponent to all four corners of the court to secure a comfortable 11-5 11-7 11-7 victory.

Both finalists are coached by Rob Owen at the Rob Owen Academy based at the West Warwicks Club on the outskirts of Birmingham.
