World no.12 and UNSQUASHABLE brand ambassador Joel Makin is set to play in the Oracle Netsuite Open as part of the PSA World Tour on Thursday.

The Welsh international is seeded no. 6 and has a bye in the first round. He will face either World Junior Champion Asal or World no. 58 Elsherbini in the second round.

He is seeded to meet no. 2 seed Tarek Momen in the quarter finals, which looks like a tough affair with Makin losing 3-1 in there last meet. Makin will be looking for revenge and we will be backing him all the way.
