Rory Stewart defeated Vini Rodrigues of Brazil 9-11 11-5 11-6 4-11 11-6 in the quarter-finals of the 2018 Austrian Squash Open being staged at Europark Salzburg.

The young Scotsman won a tough five game battle against the Brazilian qualifier in 73 minutes, the longest match of the evening.

Rory will today play 5th seeded Englishman Lyell Fuller in the semi-finals of the Professional Squash Association (PSA) M5 World Tour event.

Lyell Fuller disappointed the home crowd after he ended the dream of defending champion Aqeel Rehman with a solid 3-0 victory.
